Position Description:

As part of the Quality Assurance Department the Sub Assembly Inspector is responsible for Inspecting parts or assembly components and systems for the certified Epic E1000. When applicable, will select inspection method, determine test equipment, calibrate test equipment to standards, and evaluate results. Additionally, the Inspector researches, prepares, and signs off various documents for record keeping purposes as required. Will also monitor and maintain test equipment and work area as required. Will work in conjunction with the engineering and manufacturing departments.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Utilize hand tools, fixtures and computer-based job processing system to complete work
  • Inspect parts, assemblies and components per specifications or Engineering Drawing
  • Use measuring instruments
  • Other duties as assigned or required

What You Bring to the Team (Requirements):

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
  • Must be able to read, speak and write English
  • Minimum 2 years aircraft Inspection experience
  • Experience in technical or mechanical field
  • Knowledge of hand tools and fasteners
  • Associate or higher college degree preferred but not required
  • Must have a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Follow directions and execute processes with minimal direction
  • Be team-oriented and have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to think critically, quickly and safely
  • Be organized and follow procedures
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of quality
  • Possess good problem-solving skills
  • Be highly motivated and adapt to changes
