Position Description:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Control Systems Engineer to join our team. You will be in charge of developing the control system for a high-power fuel cell system with critical system redundancy requirements and ancillary system support.

Your Day-to-Day (Job Duties):

  • Develop control and protection strategies for fuel cell operational processes
  • Model dynamic physical processes (flow, heat transfer, chemical reactions) to facilitate control strategy design and control loop tuning by predicting system responses
  • Specify and select final control elements
  • System component selection
  • Define functional requirements, create statements of work, and prepare requests for quote and all associated documentation as required
  • Specify and select process sensors and instruments
  • Author and support execution of test plans to validate design work at component and system levels
  • Engage with and support process, equipment, and electrical engineering disciplines in their design efforts, ensuring process control needs are considered
  • Maintains and controls all Fuel cell related Control Systems software

What You Bring to the Team (Requirements):

  • 5+ years experience working with control system design
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in related engineering field
  • Solid understanding of fuel cell technology and fuel cell process control
  • Experienced in using systems level design processes
  • DO178 familiarity a significant plus
  • Knowledge of aerospace regulatory requirements and general design requirements for aircraft is desirable
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
