WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of the Epic Flight Support Parts Team, the Parts & Materials Clerk will play an important role in keeping our Service Center running efficiently by ensuring technicians and work centers have the right parts and materials when they need them. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, receiving and issuing materials, and ensuring all transactions are properly documented in our systems.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain aircraft parts, materials, and inventory using computer-based inventory systems
- Pull parts and materials for work orders and deliver them to the appropriate work centers
- Receive, inspect, and check in incoming parts and materials
- Verify items received against purchase orders and shipping documentation
- Process and document parts and material transactions accurately
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including preparing outgoing shipments
- Stock shelves, maintain organized storage areas, and rotate inventory as needed
- Monitor workstation inventory levels and replenish materials as needed
- Conduct accurate physical inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
- Use Excel and other computer systems to maintain records and generate inventory reports
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, shortages, or shipment errors with suppliers and internal teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts and materials area
- Deliver supplies and materials throughout the facility as needed
- Follow company procedures and applicable quality and documentation requirements
- Provide responsive, professional support to technicians, production teams, purchasing, and other departments
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory, warehouse, shipping & receiving, or manufacturing is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and established processes consistently
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a collaborative team member
- Positive, dependable, and can-do attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities may change
- Basic computer skills and comfortable working with inventory systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people across multiple departments
- Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of work quality
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
Helpful but not required
- Experience working in an Aerospace or Manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the facility for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday
7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Starting Pay: $20-$25/hr. Depending on experience
